A winter styled shoot at North Corner Haven

I was thrilled to shoot with Josh and Carolina for their North Corner Haven engagement session! I honestly can’t remember the last time I was more excited for a Charlotte wedding venue to open up. North Corner Haven has been around for quite some time as a family farm, but just recently they upgraded parts of the property so they can host events and weddings. This cute engagement session was this past winter, but even in the cold this place shines. If you’re getting married here, reach out! I’d love to discuss how we might work together on your wedding day!

The venue sits off of Lancaster Highway (aka 521) south of Ballantyne. The drive takes about thirty minutes, but it really pays off once you turn up the driveway. If I’m not mistaken, they have a hotel deal with Ballantyne Resort to make the transportation a bit more seamless on the wedding day.

The main, panoramic porch overlooking the yard, which is perfect for a tent or ceremony location. Or you can just use their beautiful barn, which is located behind this building.

North Corner Haven sources a lot of their menu and food straight from the property.

One of my absolute favorite portraits of the last few years. Plus, North Corner Haven’s swing is perfectly positioned for that afternoon backlight.

This Charlotte area venue is all about details and charm. The even have goats!

I hope you enjoyed this North Corner Haven engagement session, but if you’d like more, please check out a recent engagement session in southern California.
