AUSTRALIA: Australia Day03.09.12

Big thanks to Luke and Rowan for hosting the Australia Day festivities! Bangers clearly won the “Most Spirited” award! Well done! **Clap Clap** All in all, ’twas a fantastic day of beach cricket, Bulmers, Clean Skin, Cam’s Atomic-Yellow-Piss-Flavored-Booze-Concoction and Pete’s masterful barbie skills!

Australia: Somersby Falls03.07.12

Not long after I arrived, Ant-man, Cameron, Em, and I took a 20 minute from North Avoca and spent the afternoon exploring Somersby Falls. This is what happened… AND FYI… there is some playful nudity. Ant thinks he’s Tarzan.

Australia: Fishing at The Entrance03.01.12

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a terrible writer, so I’ll kindly spare you from my wonky narrative and let the photos do most of the talking. BUT before I do, I have to tell you that these words and pictures can’t even begin to express the amount of whole-hearted-kinda love and gratitude I have for my friends on the Central Coast of NSW. You all made me one of you from the second I stepped onto the sand and it’s a feeling I will never ever forget. I expect all of you to let me repay the favor whenever you make it to the States… I love and miss you guys already. I can’t wait until next time! Oktoberfest in Munich 2013, right?

The series of photos you’re about to see were taken over a span of about 6 weeks using the Contax 645 with Kodak Portra and Fuji 400h films. I shot over 25 rolls and hope to post all of them in stages as they come in from Richard Photo Lab. I’ll kick it off with a lazy afternoon fishing trip! Enjoy!

Bradley Rhoton02.18.12

Here are a couple from a quick shoot I did with dancer, Bradley Rhoton, just before I went to Australia for six weeks. We only had a few hours in Wilmington, but it was great getting to meet and work with him. He’s a very talented guy.

Kodak Porta 400 & Fuji Pro 400h07.26.11

I absolutely love the look of film and what it’s capable of when used correctly. So over 4th of July weekend, I bought a couple rolls and pulled out my grandfathers old Canon 35mm to start practicing. Here’s what I ended up with! I will definitely be shooting on it again soon! It’s amazing.
